After the near demise of both the Totton U3A and Totton U3A South Art and Craft Groups through lack of members, the decision to merge has been quite successful.
The January gathering had 14 members attending, painters, knitters, embroidery and model making in a very sociable atmosphere.
We meet in Colbury Hall on the Fourth Friday of each month 2pm - 4pm.

Meeting with Totton South

4 members attended, by invitation, the Totton U3A South  Art Group on the 22nd January. We received a very warm welcome into a very friendly busy group.
They had a Coloured Pencil demonstration of flower drawing by an expert (not compulsory), so members were free to do whatever they wished at their own pace. We concentrated on our own watercolour paintings.

We have been welcomed back for the February meeting. A small bonus, only £1 a head!
